The numbers keep going down a little bit each month.
November 2009 began with 70,250 homes on the market in metro Atlanta.
There were 71,800 homes for sale in metro Atlanta at the beginning of October 2009.
September 2009 began with 76,400 homes available for sale in the Atlanta metro area.
Atlanta had 76,800 homes for sale at the start of August 2009.
As of the beginning of July 2009, Atlanta had 77,400 homes listed for sale.
The summer month of June began with 80,100 homes available for sale in Atlanta.
May 2009 started with 80,900 homes on the market in Atlanta.
The 2009 Spring selling season began in April with 82,700 available homes for sale in Atlanta.
March 2009 began with 81,400 homes for sale in Atlanta.
There were 80,500 homes for sale in the Atlanta Metro area at the beginning of February 2009. The existing inventory is continuing to decline... good news for home sellers.
We started 2009 with 85,200 homes on the market in Atlanta. This is a good sign. My Keller Williams sign would look good in front of most of these homes too.
The number of homes for sale is still on the way down. December 2008 began with 88,450 homes for sale. The number hasn't been that low since February 2007. That's very good news for everyone.
